Protections

Mandatory Protection (TPL).
Covers medical expenses for injured third parties and/or damage to anything outside of the rental vehicle up to $750,000MN per incident.
Third Party Liability Protection is required unless customer has valid proof of liability insurance for México.

Basic Protection (CDW-TPL).
Includes all provision of Mandatory Coverage. Covers exterior vehicle damage and vehicle parts theft with a 10% CDW deductible of vehicle value. Does not cover interior damage, undercarriage damage if vehicle is driven off-pavement or partial theft.

Standard Protection (PAI)
Includes all provisions of Basic Coverage. Covers medical expenses for rental vehicle driver and occupants for up to $280,000MN per incident.

Deductible Protection (DP)
This protection covers the elimination of the deductible of the material damages contained within the Protection of Material Damage (CDW). In the case of Total Theft (TP), the deductible is not reduced and remains at 10% of the commercial value of the vehicle.

Even when the protection is sold separately, it will only apply with the contracting of the Protection from Material Damage (CDW). If the client decides to decline contracting the Material Damage Protection (CDW) this protection will not take effect and the client will be responsible for the total damages caused to the rental vehicle.

Roadside Assistance (RSA)
This protection covers the provision of roadside assistance services due to an accident or breakdown in the following cases:

Roadside assistance.- In case of breakdown, mechanical failure, lack of fuel, flat tire or unloaded alternator that prevents the unit from circulating, road assistance will be provided. In the case of a lack of fuel, the assistance service will be covered, but not the cost of fuel, which will be charged at the closing of the contract.

Locksmith Service.- In case of loss, damage or forgetfulness of the key inside the unit, the duplicate will be taken or sent to a specialized supplier for the opening of the car. In case of loss or damage, only the assistance service is covered, the cost of composing or replacing the key will be absorbed by the client and an extra charge will be generated at the contract closure.
